Dot Hill Announces New Product Architecture at Premier Analyst Day

- Company Unveils Corporate Agenda and New Product Architecture to Analysts in New York City -

NEW YORK, Oct 05, 2005 /PRNewswire-FirstCall via COMTEX News Network/ -- Dot Hill (Nasdaq: HILL), a market leader in providing flexible storage offerings and responsive service and support to original equipment manufactures (OEMs) and system integrators (SIs), from engagement through end of life, today will provide a corporate strategy update and unveil a new product architecture to attendees at its premier analyst day event at the Marriott Marquis in New York City. In addition to the architecture and corporate strategy, Dot Hill executives will foreshadow product plans, discuss market trends and present the overall direction of the company.

Dot Hill partners and customers from Maximum Throughput, Sun Microsystems and VeriStor will participate in a panel session to discuss storage industry trends and predictions of what's to come in the storage market in 2006.

According to IDC, the worldwide disk storage systems market grew at a faster rate year-over-year as of the second quarter of 2005. The total growth of the worldwide storage systems market grew to $5.6 billion in the second quarter of 2005, marking the highest year-over-year growth in eight quarters.
